Roast Picanha with Sea Salt and Aromatic Herbs

Ingredients (serves 4)

• 1 kg picanha
• 2 teaspoons Hands on Earth Sea Salt Meat Blend
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 3 crushed garlic cloves
• 1 sprig fresh rosemary
• 150 ml red wine
  
  

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 200 °C. Make small incisions in the fat layer of the picanha, without cutting into the meat.
2. Rub the Hands on Earth Sea Salt Meat Blend all over the piece and drizzle with olive oil.
3. Add the garlic, rosemary and red wine to the baking dish.
4. Bake for about 35 to 45 minutes, depending on the desired doneness.
5. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serving suggestion

Serve with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables or rice and beans. The sea salt and aromatic herbs enhance the flavour of the meat, creating a succulent and aromatic dish.
