Oven-Baked Sea Bream with Aromatic Herbs
Ingredients (4 people)
- 2 fresh sea breams (approx. 400–500 g each)
- 2 teaspoons of Hands on Earth Organic Fish Blend
- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh aromatic herbs (parsley, thyme or rosemary) to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Small potatoes and vegetables to accompany (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- Prepare the sea breams, making small cuts in the skin to allow for better absorption of flavours.
- Season the fish with olive oil, garlic, pepper, and the Hands on Earth Organic Fish Blend, ensuring the entire surface is well coated.
- Place some lemon slices and aromatic herbs inside the fish and arrange the sea breams on a baking tray.
- Drizzle with a little olive oil and bake for about 25 to 30 minutes, until the fish is cooked, succulent, and lightly golden.
- During cooking, occasionally baste with the fish's own juices to intensify the flavours.
